What is HiGS?
HiGS is a Health Information Gathering System designed to enable our health customers
to assess their health and their health risk. Through our technology and your responses
to our Histories, Assessments, and Body Systems, a Personal Health History
(PHH) is created. This PHH is the sum of information that you have entered, providing
an easy way to communicate your health issues, symptoms, and histories with your
healthcare provider.
HiGS is designed to assist you with gathering information about yourself. It is
entirely web-based, meaning there is no required software for you to install on
your computer. This also means that you can access HiGS anytime, anywhere.

keep current with information they may not normally be exposed to.

Assessments
Assessments are commonly used for determining the risk of a particular issue, disease,
etc.. An individual Assessment focuses on one particular area and asks a series
of questions related to that one particular area. These questions help determine
a risk evaluation for a specific issue.

Reporting System : Your Personal Health History (PHH)
The information gathered through Histories, Assessments, and Body Systems are first
steps towards better health. The Personal Health History (PHH) enables health
customers to bring their results together into a single document. PHHs can be created
as both a web page, and a downloadable file in Adobe PDF format.

Software Requirements
- No Special Software
HiGS does not require any software to be loaded on your computer.
- A Web browser
HiGS is a web-based system and requires a web-browsre to view it. It has
been designed and tested for the following browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and above -
- Netscape Navigator 7.0 and above.
- If you are using another browser, such as Mozilla or Opera, or an older version
of the browsers listed above, we cannot guarantee that HiGS will work properly.
Because HiGS is designed to emit industry-standard HTML, most parts of it should
behave without issue for these additional browsers.
- For Downloaded Results/Reports
HiGS has the ability to generate some results and reports in a file suiteable
for off-line viewing as downloadable files that you can view whether you are connected
to the internet or not. These files are in Adobe PDF format and can be viewed with
the free Adobe Acrobat Reader
